Museum of Wisconsin Art
West Bend, Wisconsin
Irgens was challenged to find a suitable site for a new museum. The client, an enterprising nonprofit, had been at its current location since the early 1960s. Irgens performed a comprehensive market analysis and identified 14 potential development sites within a primary target area. After presenting all options, Irgens spearheaded negotiations for two of the sites and ultimately moved ahead on a 2.5-acre parcel of land along the river in the heart of the downtown community. Irgens assembled a strong project team and the 30,700 square foot museum is on track for completion in early 2013.
