Construction Underway on New Irgens’ Medical Office Building in Illinois

01/17/2012

Irgens has begun construction on a new, 22,000 square foot medical office building (MOB) for Edward Hopsital. The 2.08 acre site is located at the northeast corner of Route 59 and Dayfield Drive in Plainfield, Illinois. The project is being developed and will be owned by Irgens for Edward Health Ventures, an affiliate of the Naperville, Illinois-based Edward Hospital.

When the new MOB opens later this year, it will offer primary care services from Edward Medical Group physicians, walk-in/urgent care, specialist physicians, physical and occupational therapy, and imaging services, including mammography, ultrasound and X-ray.

“Edward Hospital is committed to providing patients with convenient access to high-quality medical services,” said Bill Kottman, President of Edward Health Ventures. “Our new facility on Route 59 in Plainfield will allow us to efficiently serve the medical needs of this growing community.”

In addition to Irgens and Edward, other project team members include CBRE (tenant representative and corporate real estate advisor), M&I/BMO Harris Bank (financing), Eckenhoff Saunders Architects (architect) and Peak Construction (general contractor).
