Selig, who owned the Milwaukee Brewers for more than two decades, moved into the new 833 office building, 833 E. Michigan St., earlier this year from the nearby U.S. Bank Center, which housed his office during his more than 15 years as MLB commissioner. His office is 5,685 square feet and has a prime view of the Milwaukee Art Museum and Lake Michigan.

He retired in 2015 and was appointed to the commissioner emeritus position by new MLB commissioner Rob Manfred.

The office is filled with history for both Selig and baseball, including many artifacts from when Selig brought baseball back to the city in 1970, including a telegram from former Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi congratulating him on his accomplishment.

He has a Jackie Robinson hallway, filled with photos and other memorabilia honoring the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball in the modern era. He also has photos of baseball legend and good friend Hank Aaron, who finished his career with the Brewers under Selig’s ownership.
